These appointments are for common, non-emergency illnesses such as coughs, colds, ear infections, sore throats, rashes, or mild fevers. They are designed to provide quick access to medical advice and treatment.
You should book a minor illness appointment when your child has symptoms that are uncomfortable but not urgent or life-threatening. For serious concerns (such as breathing difficulties, seizures, or severe injury), you should call 999 or go to A&E.
We see children from infancy up to the age of 16. If your child is under 3 months old and showing signs of illness, we recommend calling us first so we can advise on the most appropriate care.
