Pancake Day & Your Smile!

March 4th is Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day! It’s a time to enjoy delicious pancakes — but don’t forget to keep your smile in mind!

After enjoying your pancakes, rinse with water and wait 30 minutes before brushing to protect your enamel!

Oral Health Tip of the Month: Upgrade Your Brushing Routine!

Are you brushing correctly? Many people don’t realize that technique matters just as much as consistency!

Here’s how to level up your routine:

• Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and replace it every 3 months
• Brush for two full minutes, twice a day
• Don’t forget to gently brush your tongue to remove bacteria
• Use fluoride toothpaste to strengthen enamel

Pro Tip: Try an electric toothbrush for a deeper clean!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is marked on 8 March each year. It was first recognised by the UN in 1977, though it has earlier roots in the labour movements of the early 20th century.

When is Mother’s Day 2025? This year, Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, 30th March. The day Mother’s Day is celebrated changes from year to year in the UK, though it’s always in March. The day it falls on in a given year depends on when Easter takes place, as it will always be on the 4th Sunday of Lent.
