Think rinsing your mouth right after brushing is helpful? It might surprise you to hear that it’s actually better to skip the rinse!
Fluoride in your toothpaste is designed to stay on your teeth after brushing to help strengthen enamel and fight off decay. When you rinse immediately with water, you’re washing away all that protective goodness.
Pro Tip: Just spit out the excess toothpaste and leave the rest to do its job. Your teeth will thank you for the extra protection!
