Private GP appointments

Dr Aylward graduated from University College London Medical School in 2002 where she was awarded MBBS with an intercalated BSc. in Physiology. She successfully passed her examinations for the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2006 and has nearly 20 years experience as a GP. She has worked as both a GP partner and as a Salaried GP during this time. She continues to work as an NHS GP alongside  her private appointments.

She is proficient in the many aspects of General Practice but particularly enjoys Women's Health. She holds a post graduate diploma from The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and  a Certificate of Menopause Care from the British Menopause Society. She has previously taught medical students from the University of Liverpool in a practice setting and in her role as Community Clinical Tutor at the University. Dr Aylward is passionate about ensuring that all patients get the best possible care and realises that sometimes a more bespoke approach is beneficial. She will listen to your health concerns and reassure or advise regarding the best course of action or treatment options for you. She prides herself in her excellent communication skills and her ability to make patients feel at ease during their consultations. She is able to offer appointments face to face in clinic or via telephone or video consultation if this suits your needs. It is possible to arrange any investigations or onward referrals that may be appropriate following your appointment.

Outside of work, Dr Aylward is married has two children She enjoys spending time with her family and also enjoys music and theatre. She looks forward to meeting you.
