Teeth whitening is a quick and simple treatment for clients looking to improve their smile without damaging their teeth.
Teeth can become discoloured over time and be stained on the surface by food and drinks such as tea, coffee, red wine and smoking.
Home Whitening
Home whitening allows you to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home. The process involves the dentist taking an impression of your teeth, the impression will be collected by our in house laboratory, Southport Dental Services, who will manufacture bespoke whitening trays to fit comfortably over your teeth.
The trays containing the whitening gel are worn for one hour each day or overnight depending on which whitening system you choose. Over this time your teeth will gradually lighten. Your dentist will then review your progress and you can decide if further whitening is needed.
Lab Whitening
Lab whitening can provide faster results than home whitening.
During the treatment, teeth are exposed to the powerful whitening gel. A light is then used to activate this gel. Treatment typically lasts 10 minutes and a noticeable improvement in the shade of your teeth can be seen immediately after treatment. Up to three 10-minute sessions can be carried out in one appointment.
